Placemarkers on the web

  • The New York Times -- one day one of my books will get reviewed there
  • There's apparently a famous biologist also named Jeanne Lawrence, but I've never met her. I sometimes get email from people who've mistaken us. If you were looking for her, the famous scientist, instead of me, the obscure writer, you now know where to go. Someone sent me an email the other day asking if I was a high-school classmate of his, and I suspect he was actually looking for this woman.
  • I played oboe during high school and college, put it aside for a few years, and now am starting to play again. Shawn's Planet Oboe got me in the mood, and Midwest Musical Imports, from near where I used to live, in Minnesota, supplied the necessary "stuff"
  • Don't know what an oboe is? You can find out here at ClassicalNet's oboe page. Forgive the HTML flaws.
  • When it's done, this will be a link to a web-based journal I've thought of doing for a while.
  • I learned an amazing about about HTML here at Index dot HTML, and recommend it highly.
  • This is a list of America's Top 25 Stolen Cars. I used to have 1990 Honda Accord LX, which was number 25. Then I wrecked it, and what I have now, a Mercedes-Benz diesel station wagon, isn't on the list. But go check the list and then check your driveway.
  • This link will probably get people mad at me: Jeanne's Guide To Fashion Tragedies. These are just my opinions, so calm down.
  • I now have a guestbook you can leave your words in.
