I need to not come home after work Fridays and attempt to watch the television. It only makes me upset. Why are they re-releasing Grease? I mean, I know why, probably to make money, but why are they doing it? The movie just isn't all that good! The stage production was far better. I remember Debbie Torvald, who lived up the street from us, singing "Hopelessly Devoted To You," over and over and over and over the summer that soundtrack was so popular. I guess it was 1978 or 1979, I can't really remember. All I remember is that because she liked it, and because she sang it over and over, and because her voice was awful, I've never really liked the movie.
So of course, they're re-releasing it. Next, they'll reissue all those old disco records.
Oh... too late!
I thought some more about this personal-ad thing. I am still not really sure I want to meet anybody and try to be serious, and at the same time I don't just want to date around. I don't know what I want to do. Maybe I'll try for a cameo part on Ally McBeal. Except that I can't do that thing with my tongue. That looks like it hurts, anyway.
Want to be inventive? Write a personal ad for me. The ads are free to place, so if I get a few I like, I may place them all, and then see which one is most effective.
I sound like the advertising manager at that paper in Joliet.
