I'm sorry. Due to an error on my part, Tripod managed to lose the original thing I wrote for today. I guess I'll see if I can remember what I wrote and write it again.
I got through the first week of normal work. I'm still happy with it. Some of the things I've learned so far:
- Windows NT may look like Windows 95, but it is not
- In America, you're assumed to be an illegal alien until you prove otherwise
- People in offices are total coffee addicts. It's a coffee culture, and if you're not part of it, you're made to feel it
- Commuting is not for the impatient
For those of you who go to the same place every day for work, and have for some time, none of these things will be great revelations. Remember that I've been writing independently for several years, and you'll understand why some of these things are fairly new to me.
There was more I had had to say here, but now I can't remember it.
