I think I was right... the hard drive in the laptop is causing some problems. I looked in the error log in Windows NT and it keeps reporting that the hard disk has a bad block. It crashed on me for the first time this afternoon. I'm going to save some of these things off onto floppies in case anything happens.
Fargo is acting very strange. He spends most of the day sitting in the front window looking across the street. It's not a general-purpose watching, as if he's keeping an eye on the street (he does that, too), but instead he focuses on one building. I can't believe he can actually see anything over there, but he sits and watches it just the same. I've looked, and I can't make out anything.
A guy at work who is a big Denver Broncos fan is still going on about the Super Bowl. Since most of the office seems to be Green Bay fans, he's enjoying this a lot. I figure that by this time next week he'll have driven everyone insane.
I want it to snow so that I can go skiing. I washed all the salt off the car today. Parts of it were almost white with the salt and dirt. That's a pretty large mess, when you remember that the car is dark green. But, this is Chicago.
